Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Network Architect to join our team for a remote, C2C contract position. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures for medium to large-scale organizations. This role requires a deep understanding of network hardware, software, protocols, and security, with a strong emphasis on Cisco, Fortinet/FortiGate, Aruba, and VeloCloud/Fortinet SD-WAN technologies. Experience with cloud networking, particularly Microsoft Azure, and a solid grasp of cybersecurity principles are essential. The architect will be responsible for creating high-level and low-level design documentation, managing network projects, and contributing to disaster recovery and capacity planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an experienced architect for network hardware, software, and protocols, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, VPNs, and virtualization technologies, with a strong focus on security.
- Possess core expertise with Cisco, Fortinet/FortiGate & Aruba products technology, and VeloCloud/Fortinet SD-WAN technologies.
- Design and implement robust network architectures for medium to large-scale organizations, managing networks with thousands of devices.
- Leverage experience in merger & acquisition (M&A) environments for medium/large organizations, if applicable.
- Analyze complex network issues and design efficient, scalable, and resilient solutions.
- Gain experience with cloud networking, specifically Microsoft Azure, and SAAS platforms.
- Apply knowledge of cybersecurity principles to protect network integrity and ensure data privacy.
- Manage network projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Contribute to disaster recovery and capacity planning initiatives in coordination with business and enterprise applications.
- Design and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Explore and implement automation using various tools and technologies to enhance the network design and management process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network solutions align with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in networking technologies and security best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Network Architect with a strong portfolio of designed and implemented network solutions.
- Extensive experience with network hardware, software, and protocols, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, VPNs, and virtualization.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet/FortiGate & Aruba products technology.
- Expertise in VeloCloud/Fortinet SD-WAN technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing networks for medium to large-scale organizations (thousands of network devices).
- Experience with cloud networking, particularly Microsoft Azure, and SAAS platforms.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience in managing network projects from inception to completion.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery and capacity planning.
- Proficiency in creating HLD/LLD documentation.
- Experience with network automation tools and technologies is a plus.
- CCNP /CCIE certification is considered an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, listening, written, and presentation abilities.

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year
