Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with 15+ years of experience to join our team. This is an onsite, full-time role located in Tualatin, OR, requiring immediate presence on-site from day one. The ideal candidate will be responsible for network project rollouts, focusing on identifying, prioritizing, and executing critical network build and transformation projects efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for network project rollouts.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute critical network build and transformation projects.
  • Translate business requirements into technical proposals and solutions.
  • Manage multiple critical projects simultaneously.
  • Provide detailed documentation for all implemented projects.
  • Train operations teams on newly implemented solutions.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Assess overall network health and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate new technologies and platforms for alignment with business needs.
  • Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional work experience (email states 15+ years required, aligning with title).
  • In-depth knowledge of the OSI network model.
  • Extensive experience with various network types, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies such as DNS, HTTP, SSL, 802.1x, DMVPN, TACACS+, RADIUS, Load Balancing, WAN optimization, SD-WAN, and SSL VPN.
  • Proficiency in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting Cisco network products (Nexus and Catalyst switches, routers, WLC, ISE).
  • Experience with F5 load balancer configuration, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Flexibility to work non-business hours to support global projects and migrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNP certification.
  • Aruba Certified SDWAN Deployment Professional.
  • Aruba Certified SD-WAN Deployment Expert.

Special Requirements

Onsite from Day 1, Requires 15+ years of experience.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $124,800 – $156,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Tualatin, OR
