Position Summary: Senior Oracle CPQ Developer / Tech Lead
Quantum World Technologies Inc. is looking for a seasoned Senior Oracle CPQ Developer or Technical Lead for a critical onsite engagement in Irving, TX. This role requires a deep technical expert who can lead the design and implementation of Oracle CPQ Cloud (formerly BigMachines) solutions. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex configuration, commerce, and integration modules, ensuring they align with the client’s digital transformation goals.
Core Technical Responsibilities
- Lead the system design and architecture for Oracle CPQ Cloud implementations, applying best practices and emerging software engineering patterns.
- Develop and maintain complex Configuration and Commerce rules, utilizing BML (BigMachines Extensible Language) and BMQL for advanced logic.
- Design and implement sophisticated Document Engine and Document Designer templates for automated quote generation.
- Manage Data Tables, Integration modules, and Web Services (SOAP/REST) to ensure seamless data flow between CPQ and other enterprise systems.
- Execute high-level application coding and provide comprehensive technical documentation for system design and production support.
- Drive quality through rigorous design reviews, unit testing, and code reviews to ensure defect-free delivery.
- Expertly integrate Oracle CPQ Cloud with Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other CRM/ERP platforms.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional Business and IT teams across Onshore, Onsite, and Offshore locations to ensure project alignment.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on complex CPQ challenges.
- Manage issue queues and proactively minimize stakeholder impact through systematic planning and risk mitigation.
- Provide weekly status reports, highlighting accomplishments, risks, and proposed actions to project leadership.
- Facilitate project planning and reporting, ensuring timelines and milestones are met with high precision.
Required Qualifications
- Over 10 years of professional experience in Information Technology, with a primary focus on Oracle CPQ Cloud.
- Proficiency in setting up Workflows, Profiles, Approval Processes, and Transition Rules within the CPQ environment.
- Expertise in Recommendation, Hiding, Constraint, and Configured Items rules.
- Strong knowledge of XML, XSL, and web service protocols (SOAP/REST).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams in a fast-paced, delivery-oriented environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $95 – $115 per year (Estimated)
