Role Overview
Smart IT Frame LLC is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Developer specializing in Oracle 6i Forms and Integrations for a critical 6-month engagement in San Francisco, CA. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with over 12 years of hands-on experience in the Oracle ecosystem, specifically focusing on legacy modernization and complex integration patterns. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and integrating Oracle 6i applications within a modern enterprise environment. This position requires a deep understanding of PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and the ability to bridge the gap between legacy systems and contemporary integration platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle 6i Forms and Reports to meet evolving business requirements and ensure system stability across the enterprise.
- Lead integration efforts between Oracle legacy systems and modern SN (ServiceNow) or other enterprise platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
- Perform rigorous unit testing and debugging of PL/SQL code to ensure high performance, reliability, and adherence to strict security protocols.
- Collaborate with the MSP Owner, Felix Avalos, and other stakeholders to align technical deliverables with project milestones and business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring best practices in Oracle development and integration are followed across the project lifecycle.
- Participate in planning meetings, pre-iterations, and retrospectives, providing valuable feedback on technical feasibility, effort estimation, and process improvement.
- Document technical specifications, architectural decisions, and integration maps to maintain a clear and accessible knowledge base for the project.
- Ensure all development work complies with federal regulations and internal security policies, maintaining the integrity of sensitive data at all times.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in Oracle Development within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Expert-level proficiency in Oracle Developer 6i, specifically focusing on Forms and Reports development and maintenance.
- Strong background in SN (ServiceNow) Senior Developer Integrations, with a focus on connecting legacy databases to cloud-based platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL, including the creation and optimization of stored procedures, triggers, packages, and complex views.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of complex SQL queries to handle large datasets efficiently.
- Familiarity with federal compliance standards and data security protocols relevant to government-adjacent IT projects.
- Proven track record of working on long-term enterprise-level projects with a focus on legacy system support and modernization.

Salary: $155,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
