Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead multiple strategic initiatives focused on automating security controls within the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This role will manage a portfolio of projects within Corporate Security and Resilience, working closely with project sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery aligned with the banks multi-year strategic roadmap. The role is 70% tactical execution and 30% strategic planning and requires strong experience managing complex technology programs using Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex and strategic technology programs from initiation through delivery and closure.
  • Ensure projects are planned, structured, and delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Lead governance, documentation, reporting, and overall program lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with security, DevOps, and engineering teams to automate security controls in the SDLC.
  • Define and manage program scope, risks, issues, resources, and dependencies.
  • Oversee project plans and ensure alignment with overall program strategy and timelines.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including onshore and offshore development teams.
  • Provide regular program updates and status reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Foster a results-driven environment focused on delivering high-value outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Program or Project Management leading complex technology initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies and full project life cycle management.
  • Proven experience delivering large programs end-to-end (time, cost, and quality).
  • Experience managing technology implementation projects with distributed teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and delivering projects via MVP approach.
  • Experience with JIRA and Atlassian tools (Rovo, ARC is a plus).
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools including Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Special Requirements

Visa: USC, GC, GC-EAD. Location: Local to Johnston, RI or Iselin, NJ (Hybrid/Onsite). Duration: 6+ MONTHS. Tools: JIRA, Atlassian (Rovo, ARC is a plus). Methodologies: Agile, MVP approach. Reporting: 70% tactical execution and 30% strategic planning.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year

Location: Johnston, RI
