Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to oversee the implementation of Oracle Fusion applications. This role is critical for managing third-party implementation teams, ensuring client project success, and driving the project from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, with a proven track record in managing complex IT projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the client project manager, overseeing the progress of third-party implementation teams.
- Engage and manage all client project resources effectively.
- Monitor and resolve client-related risks and issues promptly.
- Assess client go-live readiness and ensure all prerequisites are met.
- Report project progress and status to the client project sponsor and steering committee.
- Drive the success of the project from start to finish, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with the third-party implementation project manager to maintain committed deliverables and timelines.
- Manage, review, and prioritize customer project tasks to meet deliverables and timelines.
- Collect, assess, and drive mitigation plan definition and execution for any project risks and issues.
- Participate in the creation and approval of project plans as required.
- Participate in weekly status calls with the third-party vendor.
- Provide status and progress reviews to the executive team.
- Prepare the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plan and schedule, and monitor UAT progress.
- Prepare the go-live readiness assessment from the client perspective.
- Jointly drive cutover activities with the implementation PM.
- Review and gain approval for requested project artifacts, including design documents and SIT test evidence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- Minimum of 18 years of direct experience in Project Management and Program Leadership with a proven record of success.
- PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification is required.
- CSM or SAFe certification is a plus.
- Prosci, CCMP, or similar qualification is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with client stakeholders, including business analysts, business users, architects, client relations, project managers, sponsors, and C-level executive teams.
- Skilled in project progress and metrics reporting for various levels, from project teams to executives.
- Proficiency in using various project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience in balancing critical issue resolution and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Ability to drive a collaborative and transparent working environment.
- Proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycle to ensure minimal impact on project objectives.
- Expertise in developing detailed program/project execution plans, managing implementation processes including budget, resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, training, and on-time, within-budget delivery.
- Must have Oracle Fusion experience.
- Strong communication, leadership, and PMO background.
- Must be able to manage third-party implementers.
- Full set of Fusion apps experience (including Financial and Supply Chain) is required.

Salary: $100 – $150 per year (Estimated)
