Job Title: Senior Python Developer (Financial / Risk)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with extensive experience in the financial and risk domain. The role involves supporting the development of critical analytics and modeling tools utilized by our Treasury and Risk teams. This is a long-term project opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy robust Python applications.
- Implement data processing pipelines for large datasets using Pandas and NumPy.
- Collaborate with Treasury and Risk teams to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and build data models and analytical tools to support financial risk assessment, including Interest Rate Risk (IRR) and Liquidity Risk.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Integrate developed solutions with existing systems and dashboards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Python applications and data processing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior Python Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Extensive experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Solid understanding of financial risk concepts, including Treasury, Interest Rate Risk (IRR), Liquidity Risk, and Stress Testing.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database operations.
- Experience in processing and analyzing large datasets.
- Familiarity with REST APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with React-based dashboards.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
Location:
Hybrid work model, with options in Pittsburgh, PA, Lake Mary, FL, or Jersey City, NJ.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
