Position Summary
Droisys is seeking a Senior Python Developer with extensive experience in AWS and cloud-native application development for a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC. As an innovation-focused technology company, Droisys helps global organizations accelerate their digital initiatives. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our backend engineering team, responsible for designing and deploying high-performance, scalable services. We are looking for a developer who is not only a master of Python but also deeply familiar with modern architectural patterns, including microservices, event-driven design, and secure API development. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects while mentoring junior team members and influencing technical strategy.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Python 3.x and high-performance frameworks like FastAPI.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, and DynamoDB.
- Develop and secure RESTful APIs, ensuring proper versioning, documentation via Swagger/OpenAPI, and implementation of authentication patterns (OAuth2, JWT).
- Build asynchronous API workflows and event-driven architectures to handle high-concurrency workloads.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Optimize application performance and scalability through profiling and architectural improvements.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and stakeholders to define system requirements and deliver seamless user experiences.
- Document technical designs and system architectures to facilitate knowledge sharing across the team.
Technical Stack and Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with Python 3.x, with a focus on backend development.
- 3+ years of experience building and deploying cloud-native applications specifically on the AWS platform.
- 3+ years of experience with modern web frameworks, including FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, with experience in database design and query optimization.
- Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or AWS EKS.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.

Special Requirements
Hybrid work model in Charlotte, NC; Max rate $55/hr C2C All Inc.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $105,000 – $114,400 per year
