Job Summary:
CII DIVERSITIES LLC is seeking a Senior QA Analyst with expertise in IBM Curam and healthcare systems testing for a hybrid role in Columbia, South Carolina. This is a contract position expected to last 12+ months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing technical solutions, developing test plans, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications within the public sector and healthcare domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive testing on technical solutions to identify and resolve issues.
- Develop detailed test plans, QA strategies, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
- Create and execute test cases for product management and software development teams.
- Design and support user interface testing, application testing, and regression testing.
- Test software applications for reliability, stability, and performance.
- Implement testing programs to ensure quality assurance, including negative testing and usability testing.
- Lead projects to conduct quality assessments, identify security flaws, expose defects, and pinpoint areas for optimization.
- Design and/or run automated testing scripts with oversight for test deployment.
- Generate quality assurance documentation and reports as required.
- Adhere to established software testing governance policies, best practices, and guidelines, and recommend improvements.
- Maintain a database of product defects, user reviews, survey information, and functional improvements.
- Collaborate with product development teams and software engineers to recommend solutions that maximize performance and efficiency.
- Conduct reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections and ensure adherence to established governance standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3 years of experience translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios.
- 2 years of experience specifically testing IBM Curam software.
- Proven ability to communicate and publish status reports of all open issues and gaps found during the test phase.
- Ability to articulate test findings and details to Development teams.
- Experience with State/public sector systems is required.
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in large enterprise or e-business systems.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare operations, particularly Medicaid business processes.
- Proficiency in Atlassian tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
- Prior experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall methodology) and in an AGILE delivery environment.

- Candidates must be local to South Carolina and submit local DL or alternate resident proof.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $93,600 – $117,000 per year
