Job Title: HBITS-07-14683 – Senior QA Lead (HP Quality Center, ALM, Quick Test Professional (QTP), Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and LoadRunner) with Government Agency Experience

Location: Albany, NY (Day 1 onsite)

Pay Rate: $65/hr on C2C

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Lead with extensive experience in government agency environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of various testing tools and methodologies, including HP Quality Center, ALM, QTP, UFT, and LoadRunner. This role requires a proven track record of leading testing efforts for large-scale, complex human services delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret business requirement documents (BRDs) and use cases.
  • Participate in Joint Application Development sessions and seek clarification from business analysts.
  • Document and implement application test plans, identify test cases, and write and execute test scripts.
  • Identify and analyze application problems and communicate them effectively to the development team.
  • Manage and lead testing efforts using HP Quality Center/Microfocus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
  • Develop and maintain automated regression test scripts using HP Quick Test Professional (QTP) and HP/Microfocus Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
  • Plan, design, develop, and execute test strategies for web-based applications within large, complex human services delivery systems.
  • Provide direction and training to other members of the project team as a test lead.
  • Utilize industry-standard tools such as SQL Navigator, SOAP UI, and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or HP Quality Center for problem identification, documentation, tracking, and communication.
  • Plan, design, develop, and execute load and performance testing strategies using HP LoadRunner (or Performance Center).

Required Qualifications:

  • 84 months of experience analyzing and interpreting business requirement documents (BRDs) and use cases, participating in Joint Application Development sessions, and seeking clarification from business analysts.
  • 84 months of experience documenting and implementing application test plans, identifying test cases, writing and executing test scripts, identifying and analyzing application problems, and the communication of such to development team.
  • 84 months experience with HP Quality Center/Microfocus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for testing.
  • 84 months experience with HP Quick Test Professional (QTP) and HP/Microfocus Unified Functional Testing (UFT) for developing and maintaining automated scripts used to do regression testing.
  • 84 months experience planning, designing, developing, and executing test strategies based on software specifications for a web-based application in a large, complex and diverse Human Services (Federal, State, or local government) delivery system consisting of more than 100 Screens and more than 100 cross edits.
  • 36 months experience as a test lead, providing direction and training to other members of the project team.
  • 48 months experience using industry-standard tools, including SQL Navigator, SOAP UI and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or HP Quality Center, to identify, document, track and communicate problems to technical staff.
  • 48 months experience with HP LoadRunner (or Performance Center) used for load and performance testing.
  • Must have 7 years of experience working with Government Agencies.
  • Must have 3 years of experience as a Test Lead.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $135,200 – $156,000 per year (Estimated)
