Job Overview

Client is seeking a senior-level consultant to lead the Sales Audit and Revenue Accounting workstream as the company migrates from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. This position focuses exclusively on the retail sales audit domain and ensuring sales journeys, integrations, and revenue postings are accurate and functioning properly in the new system.

The project is mid-implementation and entering User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The ideal consultant will be experienced, hands-on, and able to take ownership of sales audit validation activities. This is not a project management role; it is a functional leadership role supporting sales audit, integrations, and UAT execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Sales Audit and Revenue Accounting workstream within the S/4HANA implementation.
  • Validate end-to-end retail sales journeys, revenue postings, and exception handling.
  • Oversee integration validation between Aptos, SAP, and boundary systems feeding into S/4HANA.
  • Own UAT planning and execution, including test scenario design, data validation, defect tracking, and resolution.
  • Confirm accuracy of sales data flowing from POS/OMS systems through to financial posting in S/4HANA.
  • Review integration logic, mapping rules, and data consistency (no coding required).
  • Provide clear communication, updates, and follow-through across cross-functional teams.
  • Support cutover, go-live (July 1), and 9-12 months of hypercare.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Senior-level experience in Sales Audit, Retail Revenue Accounting, or related financial operations.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, particularly sales and revenue processes.
  • Strong familiarity with SAP ECC and current-state retail financial flows.
  • Experience with Aptos or similar retail POS/OMS platforms.
  • Understanding of boundary systems and sales data integrations into SAP.
  • Significant experience leading or executing UAT in ERP transformation projects.
  • Strong communication skills, with excellent follow-through and ownership of action items.

Special Requirements

All Visa are fine for San Francisco, CA (2 day hybrid / week). Contract: C2C Accepted (No visa issues). Duration: 9Months contract. Interview Process: Two rounds (30 minutes each).

Salary: $120 – $120 per year
