Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Developer for a long-term remote engagement. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Salesforce development and demonstrate the ability to work directly with customers to understand business needs, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality implementations. This role requires a proactive professional who can independently manage client interactions, translate requirements into technical solutions, and contribute to the overall success of Salesforce initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows
- Engage directly with clients to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to recommend optimal technical solutions
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and implementation strategies
- Develop and manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
- Perform code reviews and enforce Salesforce development best practices
- Manage deployment processes, releases, and version control
- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting for Salesforce applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment
- Mentor and guide junior developers as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Salesforce development
- Strong hands-on experience with: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Flows & Process Automation
- Experience in building and managing Salesforce integrations
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and sharing rules
- Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD tools
- Proven experience in client-facing roles, handling requirement discussions and stakeholder communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I / II Certification
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
