Job Description: Senior Salesforce Developer (Service Cloud + Amazon Connect)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to lead the modernization of our customer engagement channels. This role will focus on integrating Service Cloud Omni-channel with Amazon Connect and migrating from legacy routing frameworks to next-generation solutions before their end-of-life in June 2026. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce development, Service Cloud, Omni-channel, and AWS integrations, particularly with Amazon Connect and Lambda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Omnichannel Modernization & Routing: Lead the migration from legacy Salesforce Omnichannel to new routing frameworks. Design and implement intelligent routing solutions for Email-to-Case, Chat (Live Agent/Messaging), and Voice (Amazon Connect). Configure routing models based on skills, priority, and capacity to optimize agent productivity.
  • Amazon Connect & AWS Integration: Design and maintain seamless integration between Salesforce Service Cloud and Amazon Connect. Develop and enhance AWS Lambda functions for call routing logic, data enrichment, and real-time decision-making. Upgrade and maintain Lambda packages using the latest AWS APIs/SDKs.
  • Salesforce Development: Configure and customize Case Management, Email-to-Case, Chat/Messaging, and Knowledge Base. Develop solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
  • API & Integrations: Work with APIs, integrations, and real-time data processing to ensure robust system performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce Development.
  • Strong expertise in Service Cloud & Omnichannel.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect integration.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS Lambda & serverless architecture.
  • Experience in routing configuration & customer service workflows.
  • Proficiency in Apex, LWC, and Flows.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, and real-time data processing.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Omnichannel migration projects.
  • Knowledge of Contact Center / CCaaS solutions.
  • AWS Certifications.

This is a hybrid role in San Francisco, CA, requiring local candidates.


Special Requirements

Hybrid Local Only. Migration from legacy Omnichannel to new routing frameworks ahead of end-of-life timelines (EOL June 2026).


Compensation & Location

Salary: $130,000 – $170,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: San Francisco, CA
