Position Summary
Millennium Infotech is looking for a Senior SAP Basis Administrator and Architect to lead complex SAP landscape management and strategic architectural planning. This is a remote-first role requiring a seasoned professional with over 14 years of experience in SAP Basis, Security, and Operations leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical background in S/4HANA conversions, BTP architecture, and cloud-hosted SAP environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of mission-critical SAP systems while driving innovation through cloud migrations and automation.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and manage complex SAP landscapes including NetWeaver, S/4HANA, HANA, and Solution Manager (SOLMAN).
- Lead SAP installations, upgrades, and OS/DB migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and high system availability.
- Architect and implement SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions and integrate them with existing enterprise systems.
- Oversee SAP Security and GRC Access Control to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies for cloud-hosted SAP applications on Azure, AWS, or RISE with SAP.
- Coordinate with client IT stakeholders and offshore delivery teams to manage daily operations, cutover planning, and hypercare support.
- Provide technical leadership during system refreshes, patching, and performance tuning activities.
Technical Expertise
- 14+ years of dedicated experience in SAP Basis administration and architecture.
- Certified in SAP S/4HANA Conversion, SAP BTP Solution Architecture, and SAP HANA.
- Extensive experience with SAP Solution Manager configuration and operations.
- Proficiency in managing SAP environments on public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong knowledge of SAP Security, including GRC and identity management.
- Experience with OS/DB migration tools and methodologies.
Leadership & Communication
- Proven track record of leading technical teams through large-scale SAP transformations.
- Ability to communicate technical roadmaps and risks to executive leadership.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex system issues and optimizing landscape performance.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation and operational excellence.
Special Requirements
Remote position; Requires multiple SAP certifications (S/4HANA, BTP, HANA).
Compensation & Location
Salary: $170,000 – $230,000 per year (Estimated)
