Job Summary
BrightSol is looking for a seasoned Senior SAP EWM Consultant with over 12 years of experience to lead a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation project. This is a critical onsite role based in Normal, IL, where you will be responsible for the end-to-end configuration and optimization of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in streamlining logistics and warehouse operations for a major enterprise client, ensuring that the SAP environment is robust, scalable, and fully integrated with other core modules.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the functional design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA EWM to meet complex business requirements.
- Drive the integration of EWM with Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP) modules.
- Conduct detailed business process analysis to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in warehouse operations.
- Manage full lifecycle implementation phases, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, realization, and final preparation.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide expert guidance during go-live and hypercare phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority system issues, providing root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, training manuals, and process flows.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that the delivered solution aligns with strategic organizational goals.
Required Expertise
- Minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience specifically within SAP EWM.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and its impact on warehouse management.
- Proven expertise in inbound/outbound processing, internal warehouse movements, and physical inventory.
- Strong understanding of RF technology, MFS (Material Flow System), and labor management within EWM.
- Experience in multi-site rollouts and global template deployments.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to manage complex project timelines.
Work Environment and Constraints
This position requires a 100% onsite presence in Normal, IL. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating directly with onsite business teams. Due to specific project requirements, this role is restricted to H1B visa holders only. The compensation for this C2C position is capped at $63/hr. We are looking for a dedicated professional who can commit to the project duration and provide the high-level expertise necessary for a successful S/4HANA transition. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business leadership will be key to your success in this role.
