Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer with extensive expertise in SAP FICO modules across both ECC and S/4HANA environments. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of financial business processes, technical validation, and the ability to drive quality assurance strategies for complex enterprise systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial data, validating Fiori applications, and troubleshooting backend SAP tables to maintain high-quality delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans for SAP FICO implementations and upgrades.
- Perform advanced functional validation for General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Banking, and Vendor Payments.
- Validate Fiori applications, focusing on workflow accuracy and functional behavior within the SAP ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot backend SAP tables and data structures to identify and resolve financial posting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Business, Functional, and Development teams to ensure end-to-end integration validation.
- Manage defect governance and reporting using tools like Rally or JIRA.
- Create detailed test cases, test steps, and traceability matrices for complex financial processes.
- Present test results and quality metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Technical Requirements
- 5-7+ years of dedicated SAP FICO testing experience.
- Proven expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA platforms.
- Strong proficiency in validating financial integration points and data migration architectures.
- Experience with ETL processes and interface architecture between SAP and third-party systems.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).
- Experience leading or mentoring Quality Engineering teams in an onshore/offshore model.
- Advanced understanding of SAP Fiori and modern UI/UX validation.
Special Requirements
PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) domain experience preferred.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
