Strategic SAP Consulting Opportunities
Metrix IT Solutions is currently expanding its SAP practice to meet the growing demands of our enterprise clients undergoing digital transformations. We are actively seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Data Migration & Cutover Consultant to lead high-impact projects in Jacksonville, FL. This role is critical for ensuring the integrity and continuity of business operations during complex migrations from legacy systems to S/4HANA. In addition to this primary role, we are also recruiting for senior positions in SAP EWM, BTP Security, and SD Techno-Functional domains. Our consultants are at the forefront of SAP innovation, working on hybrid and onsite assignments that challenge their technical depth and strategic thinking.
Core Responsibilities for Data Migration and Cutover
- Lead the end-to-end data migration strategy for S/4HANA implementations, focusing on FI (Finance) and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules.
- Develop and execute comprehensive cutover plans, coordinating across multiple business units and technical teams to ensure a seamless transition with minimal downtime.
- Utilize SAP Data Services (BODS), SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, and other advanced tools to extract, transform, and load (ETL) critical business data.
- Perform rigorous data validation and reconciliation to ensure 100% accuracy of migrated financial and sales records.
- Collaborate with SAP Security Architects to ensure data privacy and compliance standards are met throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP BTP integration and S/4HANA security architecture to protect enterprise assets.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular reporting on migration progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide knowledge transfer to client teams to ensure long-term project success.
- Analyze complex business processes in SD, including consignment, pricing, and external interfaces, to ensure functional requirements are met in the new environment.
- Drive continuous improvement in migration methodologies, leveraging automation and AI-driven data cleansing tools where applicable.
Professional Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates must possess extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA environments, specifically within the context of large-scale data migrations. A deep understanding of SAP FI and SD functional processes is mandatory. We look for professionals who have successfully managed at least two full-lifecycle S/4HANA migrations. Strong techno-functional skills, including the ability to debug ABAP and understand complex interfaces, are highly valued. Excellent leadership and communication skills are required to manage the high-pressure environment of a project cutover. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is expected. Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
