Position Summary: Senior ServiceMax Developer

We are seeking a Senior ServiceMax Developer for a long-term contract opportunity onsite in Ewing, NJ. This role is critical for the design and delivery of ServiceMax requirements on the Salesforce (SFDC) platform for a major enterprise client. As a key developer, you will lead the functional design process and partner with business users and IT teams to bridge process gaps and implement high-impact solutions.

Key Technical Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of ServiceMax enhancements, ensuring alignment with IT Product Road Maps and design standards.
  • Configure business applications based on complex functional requirements and design documents.
  • Develop on the SFDC platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Manage the ServiceMax data model, focusing on objects such as Installed Products, Work Orders, and Entitlements.
  • Oversee release management using Salesforce Change Sets, ServiceMax Migration Tools, and Salesforce Workbench.
  • Perform data management tasks using tools like dataloader.io, Jitterbit, or the Salesforce Dataloader.
  • Provide technical mentorship to the delivery team and act as a subject matter expert for the ServiceMax practice.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex platform issues.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow coding best practices through rigorous code reviews.

Strategic Impact and Field Service Excellence

In the current market, Field Service Management (FSM) is a cornerstone of operational efficiency. Your expertise in ServiceMax will enable the client to optimize their service delivery, improve asset tracking, and enhance customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Salesforce object model, roles, profiles, and permission sets are configured to provide secure and efficient access management. Experience with Asset360 and Field Service Lightning (FSL) is highly desirable as the platform continues to evolve.

Qualifications and Professional Growth

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of dedicated ServiceMax experience and 4+ years of broader Salesforce development experience. ServiceMax certification is a mandatory requirement for this role. Beyond technical skills, we are looking for a professional who can collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and provide escalated support when necessary. This long-term contract offers the chance to work on a high-visibility project within a robust Agile framework, utilizing modern tools like Selenium or webdriver.io for QA automation.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
