Role Overview: Senior ServiceNow Administrator

Adonia Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Administrator for a long-term contract engagement in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to manage and optimize a robust ServiceNow environment for a major enterprise client. As we move into 2026, the ServiceNow platform continues to be the backbone of digital transformation, and this position is critical for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) workflows.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Execute daily administration, maintenance, and Change Management/Change Control within the ServiceNow platform to ensure 99.9% uptime.
  • Manage core ITSM modules including Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management, ensuring all tickets are processed according to SLA requirements.
  • Oversee the Service Catalog and Service Level Management, configuring complex workflows and execution plans.
  • Maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Asset Management modules, ensuring data accuracy and performing monthly SOX audits.
  • Recommend and create application configurations, standards, and administrative evaluations based on functional specifications.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for ServiceNow Support, providing SME-level consultation for end-user inquiries and system troubleshooting.
  • Perform Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) for all new platform implementations.
  • Design and implement Organization group roles and Change Coordinator groups to align with evolving business structures.
  • Monitor platform performance and foundation data updates, ensuring the system scales effectively with organizational growth.
  • Facilitate ServiceNow education and training sessions for end-users and junior administrative staff.

Technical Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the ServiceNow ecosystem, specifically focusing on policy and procedural tasking. A ServiceNow Administration certification is highly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in IT service delivery and platform administration. A degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Proficiency in eBonding, system interfaces, and internal services like eAccess is essential for success in this role. The candidate must be comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing remote productivity with on-site collaboration in Raleigh.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $125,000 – $165,000 per year
