Role Overview: Senior ServiceNow Developer (C2C)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer for an urgent contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a candidate who excels in a fast-paced environment and has a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform. The position is remote-friendly, though we are specifically looking for candidates who can align with US time zones and potentially relocate if the project requirements evolve. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions that drive business efficiency and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain custom applications on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, Glide API, and HTML/CSS.
  • Configure and enhance core application suites, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
  • Design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST, SOAP, and Mid-Server technologies.
  • Create and manage sophisticated workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts to automate business processes.
  • Perform platform upgrades, patch applications, and system maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and provide expert guidance on platform capabilities.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership during the development lifecycle.

Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
  • Proven track record of successful ServiceNow implementations in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide, Jelly) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML).
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and how they are mapped within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management is highly desirable.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications are preferred.

Soft Skills and Project Environment:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,000 – $228,000 per year (Estimated)
