Pull Skill Technologies Inc. is currently seeking a highly distinguished and seasoned Senior ServiceNow Developer for a high-impact, 12-month contract engagement located in McLean, Virginia. This position is specifically designed for a platform expert who brings a minimum of 15 years of professional industry experience to the table. As a core member of the Enterprise Risk Management Technologies Team, you will be tasked with the architectural design, configuration, and seamless integration of “out-of-the-box” ServiceNow solutions, meticulously tailoring them to meet the unique and evolving needs of a large-scale enterprise business environment. This role requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow ecosystem, particularly within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) domain, and the ability to lead technical initiatives from conception through to production support.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Architect, design, and implement comprehensive ServiceNow GRC modules, ensuring they are perfectly aligned with organizational solution requirements and industry best practices.
  • Execute advanced configuration of the solution User Interface (UI), which includes the development and management of Forms, Fields, Lists, Views, Workspaces, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and UI Actions.
  • Develop sophisticated Dashboards and Reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders, alongside the creation of intuitive Service Catalogs and Portals.
  • Design and configure complex solution workflows by leveraging Business Rules, Scheduled Jobs, Script Includes, Flows, Workflows, Notifications, Mail Scripts, and Events.
  • Manage platform security and governance by configuring Users, Roles, Groups, and Access Control Lists (ACLs) to maintain a secure environment.
  • Lead the lifecycle management of Update Sets, including their creation, rigorous testing, and strategic deployment across various platform environments.
  • Facilitate and oversee complex data imports into GRC application tables, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and proper relational mapping.
  • Build and maintain robust system-to-system integrations using the ServiceNow Integration Hub and REST APIs, enabling seamless data flow between ServiceNow and external enterprise applications.
  • Conduct thorough functional component testing on all GRC workflows to ensure that deliverables meet the highest quality standards and business expectations.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality technical solution documentation, including architectural diagrams and configuration guides, to support long-term platform sustainability.
  • Actively participate in all Agile sprints and Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
  • Provide expert-level production and end-user support, serving as a final point of escalation for complex technical issues within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate closely with the deployment planning team to ensure that all software releases adhere to strict compliance and governance standards.

Required Technical Qualifications

  • Must be a Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) with a proven track record of success.
  • A minimum of 15 years of total IT experience is a mandatory requirement for this senior-level role.
  • At least 7+ years of dedicated experience in designing and implementing complex, enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions.
  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on development experience using JavaScript, Ajax, XML, JSON, HTML, and CSS within the ServiceNow framework.
  • Expertise in Glide Record queries and advanced server-side and client-side scripting.
  • Proven experience building and managing integrations via Integration Hub and RESTful web services.
  • Extensive experience working within Agile methodologies in a large-scale enterprise setting.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical solutions.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership over project outcomes.

Preferred Professional Qualifications

  • Certified Implementation Specialist in Risk and Compliance (GRC) is highly preferred.
  • Recent hands-on experience in a ServiceNow development role within the last 6 months is critical for this reopening.
  • Strong familiarity with the Automated Test Framework (ATF) for ensuring platform stability during upgrades and deployments.
