Position Summary
Adventa Tech is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a deep specialization in embedded systems and AUTOSAR architecture for a 3-month Contract-to-Hire (C2H) engagement in Minneapolis, MN. This role is ideal for a technical expert with over 10 years of experience in embedded software development, specifically focusing on base software and microcontroller peripheral drivers. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and configuring MCAL drivers for high-performance automotive or industrial systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and configure AUTOSAR MCAL drivers for components such as ADC, DIO, PORT, SPI, GPT, I2C, and Interrupts.
- Work with prototype hardware to port software and operating systems, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
- Utilize hardware debuggers (JTAG/NEXUS) and laboratory equipment like Oscilloscopes and Multimeters to troubleshoot complex hardware-software interactions.
- Manage build environments, including compilers, assemblers, and linkers, with a focus on memory architecture optimization.
- Collaborate on multicore and heterogeneous multi-processing projects to enhance system efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with communication protocols such as CAN, J1939, and Ethernet where applicable.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years in embedded software development.
- 5 to 7 years of dedicated experience in AUTOSAR MCAL driver development and configuration.
- Expertise in general AUTOSAR modules including OS, BSWM, ECUM, and Watchdog.
- Ability to read and interpret complex hardware schematics at different levels.
- Strong understanding of memory architecture, linker options, and build environment configurations.
- Experience with Multicore and heterogenous multi-processing environments.
Additional Information
This position is located in Minneapolis, MN, and while relocation is acceptable, candidates must provide a valid Driver’s License and Visa copy for compliance. The interview process will be conducted via Skype. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of low-level programming skills and architectural knowledge of the AUTOSAR stack. The contract duration is initially 3 months with a strong potential for conversion to a permanent role.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
