Job Summary
CloudThink Tech Inc is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in React and Mobile development. This role is crucial for planning, designing, developing, configuring, documenting, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining First Horizon’s software applications and services. The ideal candidate will be innovative, energetic, and comfortable leading and contributing to the creation of exceptional customer experiences. You will be a key member of a collaborative team comprising developers, business analysts, product managers, and QA/testing staff, focused on delivering a secure and cutting-edge new digital experience for both internal and external customers. This position involves the development, maintenance, and support of Internet Banking applications, requiring technical expertise and adherence to industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate within a team of developers, business analysts, product managers, and QA/testing staff.
- Develop, maintain, and support Internet Banking applications.
- Bring technical expertise and industry best practices to the development team.
- Work independently and as part of a team to develop features and capabilities.
- Resolve issues or defects efficiently.
- Plan, design, develop, configure, document, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications and services.
- Contribute to providing outstanding customer experiences through innovative solutions.
- Ensure the delivery of a secure and top-notch new digital experience.
- Participate in on-call support on a rotational basis (24×7).
Required Technical Skills
- Minimum 6+ years of development experience (at least 3 years in the US).
- Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills.
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js (MUST HAVE).
- Expertise in React, TailwindCSS, NextJS, or similar frameworks (Must have at least one).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest, Playwright, or Cypress (Must have at least one).
- Expertise with responsive and mobile design, cross-browser development, and API usage (mobile experience is required).
- Experience with web services, including SOAP and REST.
- Advanced knowledge of source control and change control practices (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with build automation and deployment tools.
- Experience deploying applications in a containerized, cloud environment (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Development experience with web applications deployed in complex, multi-tiered environments.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SQL Queries and Stored Procedures.
- Dynatrace expertise.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry.

Location & Employment Type
This role prefers candidates in Charlotte or Raleigh, NC, but will consider remote candidates for strong profiles. Other potential hybrid onsite locations include Atlanta, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Dallas, TX; New Orleans, LA; Memphis, TN; Nashville, TN; Birmingham, AL; Greensboro, NC/Winston-Salem, NC; and Houston, TX. The duration is initially 6 months with potential for extensions. This is a W2 contract role.
Special Requirements
Banking/financial services experience is a plus. Remote candidates will be considered. Interview modes: Video (remote), Onsite (local). Coding challenge required. On-call support required 24×7 on a rotational basis.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
