We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our elite technology team in Dallas, Texas. With over 15 years of professional experience in the IT industry, the ideal candidate will serve as a cornerstone for our cloud transformation initiatives, specifically focusing on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This is an onsite role that requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic foresight, and the ability to lead complex engineering projects from conception to deployment. You will be the driving force behind designing and implementing sophisticated, scalable, and resilient systems that define the future of our digital infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities and Architectural Leadership

  • Enterprise Azure Design: Lead the end-to-end technical design and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will be responsible for ensuring that all architectures adhere to the highest standards of security, scalability, and performance.
  • Strategic Blueprints: Translate intricate business requirements into clear, comprehensive architectural blueprints. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions align with long-term business goals and digital transformation roadmaps.
  • DevOps Excellence: Champion the adoption of DevOps best practices across the organization. This includes designing and managing robust CI/CD pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates, and establishing sophisticated monitoring and alerting strategies to ensure system reliability.
  • AI and Innovation: Drive the integration of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning services into our application portfolio. Specifically, you will leverage Azure AI and Azure OpenAI services to unlock new business value, automate processes, and deliver cutting-edge user experiences.
  • Technical Escalation: Serve as the ultimate point of escalation for the most complex technical challenges. You will be expected to perform deep-root cause analysis and architect elegant, resilient solutions to systemic issues.
  • Mentorship and Culture: Provide high-level technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level development teams. You will foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation within the engineering department.

Technical Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in software engineering and systems architecture, with at least 7-10 years focused on cloud-native solutions.
  • Azure Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL.
  • DevOps Tooling: Proficiency in modern DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • AI/ML Integration: Proven experience in deploying AI models and integrating LLMs (Large Language Models) into production environments using Azure OpenAI.
  • Security First Mindset: Deep understanding of cloud security frameworks, identity management (Azure AD/Entra ID), and compliance standards.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.

Strategic Impact and Future-Proofing

As a Senior Solution Architect, your impact extends beyond immediate project delivery. You will be instrumental in future-proofing our technology stack against the rapidly evolving digital landscape. This involves staying at the forefront of emerging technologies, conducting Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and advising executive leadership on which technologies will provide a competitive advantage. You will play a key role in vendor management and technology selection, ensuring that our partnerships and tools are optimized for cost and performance. Your ability to balance immediate tactical needs with long-term strategic objectives will be critical to the success of our global technology initiatives.
