Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SW Integration Testing Engineer to partner with systems engineers in the System ART. The ideal candidate will have a strong end-to-end perspective of software and instrument testing, or a Systems Engineer background with a focus on software testing. This role is crucial for identifying software and hardware vulnerabilities and supporting integration testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive testing plans for software and hardware integrated systems.
- Execute hands-on testing protocols to ensure system integrity and performance.
- Author detailed technical reports documenting test results and findings.
- Manage the defect lifecycle, including collection, documentation, and summarization for the development partner.
- Collaborate closely with systems engineers to identify and mitigate software and hardware vulnerabilities.
- Support and enhance integration testing activities to ensure seamless system operation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Possesses a strong understanding of software testing methodologies for hardware-integrated systems.
- Demonstrates an end-to-end perspective of software and instrument testing.
- Alternatively, has a Systems Engineer background with a significant focus on software testing.
Education & Experience
- Requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing for hardware-integrated systems.
- Experience in a FDA or FAA regulated environment is a strong plus.
- Experience within the medical device industry is ideal.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year
