Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional Consultant with expertise in Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) to drive warehouse transformation initiatives. This role will play a critical part in designing and implementing scalable warehouse solutions, including greenfield distribution centers and migration of legacy WMS platforms.
The ideal candidate will act as a strategic IT partner, collaborating with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to deliver innovative, high-impact supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end SDLC for Manhattan Active WMS implementations
- Drive greenfield deployments and legacy system migrations
- Configure and implement key WMS functionalities (Inbound, Labor Management)
- System Integration & Architecture
- Design and manage integrations with: ERP systems, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Track & Trace platforms
- Analyze upstream and downstream system impacts
- Ensure seamless data flow across enterprise systems
- Techno-Functional Analysis
- Gather and analyze business requirements
- Translate requirements into: Functional specifications, Technical design documents
- Define scalable and innovative solutions aligned with business goals
- Testing & Support
- Develop and execute test cases and scenarios
- Support SIT/UAT and production deployments
- Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
- Documentation
- Create and maintain: URS (User Requirement Specifications), SOPs, Process flows, Functional & technical design documents, Test cases and support documentation
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with: Business product owners, IT teams and DevSecOps, External vendors (e.g., Manhattan, automation providers)
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for WMS solutions
- System Stability & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure system performance, stability, and recovery planning
- Identify opportunities for optimization and innovation
- Support DevSecOps practices and cloud-based deployments
Required Qualifications
- 8-12+ years of relevant IT experience
- Strong expertise in Manhattan Active WMS (MAWM) or similar WMS platforms
- Deep understanding of warehouse management and supply chain processes
- Hands-on experience in: System configuration and implementation, SDLC (requirements, design, testing, deployment)
- Experience with: SQL / PostgreSQL, Linux environments, System integrations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based platforms
- Exposure to automation systems (e.g., conveyors, robotics)
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
