Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Telecom / UC Engineer / Network Engineer to join our team. This role is based in Bridgewater, NJ, requiring a hybrid work model (4 days onsite per week). The position focuses on Avaya systems, SIP, dial plans, PSTN, and call routing, as well as CCaaS (Five9, NICE, Verint) and UCaaS platforms (Teams Phone, Zoom Phone). The engineer will be responsible for designing IVR flows, troubleshooting complex call issues, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of voice services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Avaya systems, including SIP, dial plans, PSTN, and call routing.
- Work with CCaaS platforms such as Five9, NICE, and Verint.
- Manage and support UCaaS platforms including Teams Phone and Zoom Phone.
- Design and optimize IVR flows to enhance user experience and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice and network issues.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of voice services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement voice solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on telecom and UC technologies.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with Avaya systems.
- Strong knowledge of SIP, dial plans, PSTN, and call routing.
- Hands-on experience with CCaaS platforms (Five9, NICE, Verint).
- Experience with UCaaS platforms (Teams Phone, Zoom Phone).
- Proficiency in designing IVR flows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for voice and network issues.
- Understanding of network infrastructure and protocols relevant to voice services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
