Position Summary
Scalable Systems is looking for a high-level Senior Test Automation Architect with over 10 years of enterprise experience to lead our automation initiatives in San Francisco, CA. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who can design sophisticated automation strategies for large-scale application landscapes. You will be the driving force behind our transition toward ‘test early, test often’ methodologies, leveraging cutting-edge DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to ensure software quality and delivery speed.
Core Responsibilities
- Architect and implement comprehensive enterprise-level automation strategies and suites.
- Design and maintain robust automation frameworks across multiple platforms using Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, and UFT.
- Integrate automated testing seamlessly into Jenkins pipelines and established CI/CD processes.
- Manage complex Test Data Management (TDM) requirements through innovative automated solutions.
- Serve as a strategic liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure systems meet customer perspectives.
- Analyze industry trends to propose system enhancements and provide mentorship to junior automation engineers.
- Consult on new implementations and provide subject matter expertise for existing support projects.
Required Technical Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, and Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Continuous Integration workflows.
- Deep knowledge of Test Plan preparation, Traceability Matrices, and Test Data Management.
- Strong background in DevOps implementation and early-cycle testing strategies.
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Accessibility Testing standards.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $65 – $73 per year
