Position Summary: Senior Test Automation Engineer
Valzo Soft Solutions is looking for a seasoned Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead quality engineering initiatives for our client in San Francisco, CA. This is a high-impact contract role requiring a minimum of 10 years of dedicated experience in the test automation space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting large-scale enterprise applications and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle within a DevOps framework. You will be responsible for transforming manual testing processes into robust, automated suites that ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
Technical Core Competencies
- Automation Tooling: Expert-level knowledge of Tosca, Selenium, and UFT. You should be able to select the right tool for the specific application context.
- Framework Development: Extensive experience in creating, maintaining, and scaling automation frameworks from the ground up.
- CI/CD Integration: Hands-on experience setting up Jenkins pipelines and integrating automated tests into the broader CI/CD ecosystem.
- Test Data Management (TDM): Proficiency in managing complex test data needs using TDM tools and automated scripts.
- Emerging Technologies: Exposure to Accessibility Testing and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is highly desirable.
- Methodologies: Strong adherence to ‘test early, test often’ principles and leveraging DevOps implementations to improve quality.
Strategic Responsibilities
Beyond technical execution, you will act as a strategic consultant for our business functions. You will design the overarching automation strategy, analyze industry trends to keep our tech stack modern, and proactively propose system enhancements. As a liaison between business and technical teams, you will ensure that automation efforts align with customer needs and business processes. You will also serve as a mentor to junior team members, providing ad-hoc training and fostering a culture of quality excellence. The ability to multitask across multiple projects and deliverables is essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year
