Role Overview
Nitya Software Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior UX Designer to join our team in Mountain View, CA. This is a ‘Work from Office’ position designed for a visionary professional with over 12 years of experience in the design field. As a Senior UX Designer, you will significantly contribute to team outcome metrics, acting as a subject matter expert who works independently to solve complex design challenges. You will be responsible for adjusting, explaining, and ensuring the understanding of design processes both within the team and across external functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Craft: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of design principles, methods, and tools. You will contribute new ideas to the overall design direction and provide high-level feedback on various design crafts using industry-standard software.
- Design Systems: Manage the operations of design systems within established patterns and frameworks. You will be accountable for reviewing project work to ensure strict adherence to the design system while suggesting continuous improvements.
- End-to-End (E2E) Thinking: Approach design through the lens of the entire customer journey, including pre- and post-product experiences. You must understand the importance of a platform mindset and pivot strategies based on Voice of Customer (VOC) data.
- Customer & Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities. You will execute competitor teardowns, synthesize research, and ground all design work in specific customer problems.
- Data Fluency: Collaborate with data partners to enhance user experiences. You will design personalized experiences under constraints and use data to lead small teams in data-informed design strategies.
- Technical Acumen: Work with complex patterns and component configurations to create reusable, accessible designs that leverage existing technical capabilities.
- Strategic Impact: Advocate for solutions with significant business impact, setting success metrics for your craft and prioritizing work based on strategic value.
- Communication & Partnership: Confidently present and defend ideas. You will build strong relationships with PM, PD, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to establish a shared vision and goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12+ years of professional UX/UI design experience.
- Expertise in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Proven track record of managing complex design systems and E2E user flows.
- Strong background in user research, interview scripting, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at the team and leadership levels.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $185,000 – $265,000 per year (Estimated)
