About the Role

This is a remote position focused on enhancing website performance and visibility through expert Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing website data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective SEO techniques to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify target audience search terms.
  • Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, and site structure for search engines.
  • Monitor website traffic, user behavior, and search engine performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Analyze competitor SEO strategies and identify opportunities for competitive advantage.
  • Implement technical SEO best practices to ensure website crawlability and indexability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with content creators and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of the website.
  • Provide regular reports on SEO performance, including key metrics and insights.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any SEO-related issues that may arise.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Strong understanding of website analytics and data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is beneficial.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60,000 – $120,000 per year
