Job Title: ServiceNow Architect

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Architect for a hybrid role, requiring 3 days onsite per week, in either Detroit, MI or Charlotte, NC. This contract position involves defining and owning the ITOM architecture, leading CMDB governance, and driving hands-on design for various ServiceNow modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ITOM Strategy Architecture: Define and own the end-to-end ITOM architecture, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management, aligning with business needs and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
  • CMDB Governance: Lead CMDB architecture, including Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules, data models, and relationship frameworks to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Implementation Leadership: Drive hands-on design of MID Servers, Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and credentials.
  • Integration Management: Design complex integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and external tools.
  • Technical Governance: Enforce development standards, best practices, and an out-of-the-box (OOTB) approach to minimize customizations.
  • Presales Consulting: Support sales activities with scoping, effort estimation, and solution design.

Mandatory Skills:

  • ServiceNow ITOM – Cloud Insights
  • ServiceNow ITOM – Discovery
  • ServiceNow ITOM – Governance
  • ServiceNow ITOM – Service Mapping
  • Strong understanding of ITOM processes and best practices.
  • Experience with CMDB architecture and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing integrations using ServiceNow Integration Hub.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ServiceNow Presales activities.
  • Knowledge of various ServiceNow modules beyond ITOM.
  • Experience in hybrid work environments.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect or in a similar senior technical role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model (3 days onsite).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be eligible for Contract employment.
