Role Overview
The ServiceNow Architect will serve as the primary technical visionary and execution lead for complex ServiceNow implementations, specifically focusing on Financial Services Operations (FSO) Card Dispute Management and Customer Service Management (CSM). This high-impact role requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform’s capabilities to design scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures that align with strategic business objectives. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business requirements and technical delivery, ensuring that the platform remains healthy, upgradable, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and architectural guidance across the entire ServiceNow lifecycle, from initial design to post-implementation support.
- Design high-level solution architectures and maintain comprehensive views of system integrations, data models, and platform health.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Developers to translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to platform governance policies, security standards, and licensing boundaries.
- Conduct rigorous configuration reviews, health scans, and sprint-based design/code reviews to maintain code quality.
- Resolve critical technical escalations and provide expert support for defect management and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and communicate a clear technical implementation roadmap to stakeholders and leadership.
- Lead workshops, contribute to organizational best practices, and mentor junior team members through training paths.
- Assist with configuration migration, platform upgrades, and the adoption of new ServiceNow features.
- Work within the ServiceNow NOW learning framework and follow industry best practices for development and deployment.
Technical Expertise and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess deep experience with the ServiceNow platform, specifically within FSO Dispute and CSM modules. You must have a strong knowledge of the Financial Services Data Model, including banking, disputes, and payments. Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML), APIs (REST/SOAP), and UI development (Service Portal, widgets) is essential. You should be skilled in integrations using Integration Hub, SOAP, REST, Import Sets, and Transform Maps. Familiarity with DevOps practices, Git, Selenium, and Agile/CI/CD environments is highly preferred. Candidates should have 10-14+ years of ServiceNow experience, with at least 2-4 years specifically in solution implementation. Required certifications include Certified System Administrator (CSA), at least one Mainline certification (CSM, HRSD, or ITSM), and FSO Dispute Management Accreditation.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
