Role Overview
We are seeking a highly strategic and technically proficient ServiceNow Architect to join our enterprise platform team for a 12-month contract. This role is critical in shaping the future of our ServiceNow ecosystem, ensuring that the platform remains scalable, efficient, and aligned with our broader digital transformation goals. As a lead architect, you will be responsible for the high-level design of complex solutions, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution. You will work closely with technical product owners, developers, and stakeholders to maintain architectural integrity across multiple intersecting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and roadmap for the ServiceNow platform, covering modules such as ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, and IRM/GRC.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to ensure ServiceNow solutions align with corporate standards and security protocols.
- Provide expert-level consultation on complex technical challenges, including platform performance, data governance, and system integrations.
- Design and oversee the implementation of robust integrations using REST, SOAP, and other middleware technologies.
- Establish and enforce development standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for the development team.
- Guide the organization through the implementation and optimization of CMDB and CSDM frameworks to support business service mapping.
- Conduct technical design reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers and administrators.
- Document all architectural decisions, system configurations, and integration maps to ensure long-term maintainability.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- At least 3 years of experience serving in a formal ServiceNow Architect capacity.
- Proven expertise in at least three of the following modules: ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, IRM/GRC, or CMDB/CSDM.
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF) and platform upgrade cycles.
Work Environment & Preferences
This is a fully remote position; however, we have a strong preference for candidates located in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Wisconsin, or Pennsylvania. The interview process will involve a rigorous technical video call via Skype. Candidates must possess a valid LinkedIn profile with a photo for identity verification. Compensation & Location
Salary: $185,000 – $255,000 per year (Estimated)
