Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer and Administrator to join our dynamic IT operations team in Evendale, OH. This role is critical for the ongoing evolution of our enterprise service management capabilities. As a ServiceNow specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the platform, from routine configuration and maintenance to complex custom development and integration projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform is optimized to meet the business’s evolving needs, providing a seamless experience for all users.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and develop on the ServiceNow platform, implementing routine changes, configuration adjustments, and complex custom applications as requested by stakeholders.
- Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring high availability and performance across all environments.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of ServiceNow applications and server resources.
- Collaborate with Platform and Delivery teams to execute ServiceNow upgrades and patching, coordinating system updates across different instances to ensure the latest security patches and configuration changes are applied.
- Assist with report configuration, dashboard creation, and maintenance, performing operational administrative tasks to support data-driven decision-making.
- Actively collaborate with teammates to perform code reviews, discuss new developments, and mentor junior admins/developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support the administration for Production and non-production instances, ensuring environment parity and successful deployment cycles.
- Collaborate with Production Support and ServiceNow Operation teams to monitor support cases and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Document administrative processes, technical designs, and issue resolutions to maintain a robust knowledge base.
- Work with business line stakeholders to develop clear requirements and translate them into technical specifications within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Participate in daily scrum meetings and other Agile ceremonies, contributing to the sprint planning and execution process.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the platform, including performance-related problems and integration failures.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Platform Administration and Development.
- Extensive experience with core ServiceNow applications: Incident, Problem, Change Management, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog.
- Strong proficiency in ITOM and CMDB implementation and maintenance.
- Current ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certification is strictly required.
- Priority consideration for candidates holding a ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and/or Application Portfolio Management (APM).
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs for custom development and integrations.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL v3 or v4 frameworks.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
