Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer / Technical Lead to design and build a custom application onboarding and self-service platform within ServiceNow. This role requires a blend of architectural leadership and hands-on development, including integrating ServiceNow with HashiCorp Vault using external APIs and mentoring junior developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications utilizing ITSM, App Engine, Service Catalog, and Flow Designer.
- Build secure self-service onboarding workflows with robust approval processes, involving Security, DBA, and Platform teams.
- Integrate ServiceNow with HashiCorp Vault and other third-party systems using IntegrationHub / REST APIs.
- Ensure strong security measures, including RBAC, auditability, and compliance, with a strict policy against storing secrets in ServiceNow.
- Act as a technical lead, responsible for reviewing designs, guiding less-experienced ServiceNow developers, and establishing best practices.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong experience with custom scoped applications, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and scripting.
- Proven experience with REST APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
- Good understanding of security principles, approvals, and automation within the ServiceNow platform.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead technically.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault.
- Relevant ServiceNow certifications.
- Experience with CMDB or platform automation.

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
