Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in the telecom domain to join our client’s team. This role is crucial for developing and configuring applications within the ServiceNow platform to meet specific business process and application requirements. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and guiding the team to ensure effective delivery. This position requires engagement with multiple teams and contribution to key strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure applications on the ServiceNow platform in alignment with architectural recommendations and business needs.
- Act as a technology subject matter expert, providing guidance and leadership to the development team.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Make informed team decisions and contribute to critical project milestones.
- Gain hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, Integrations Hub, and Flow Designer components.
- Develop innovative application solutions that enhance user experience and streamline business processes.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Customize and configure various ServiceNow applications and modules to meet specific client requirements.
- Develop and implement workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies to automate and optimize processes.
- Create and maintain custom applications within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and various integration tools.
- Ensure smooth and efficient data flow between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Perform system upgrades, apply patches, and conduct regular maintenance to ensure platform stability.
- Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement timely troubleshooting and resolutions.
- Customize ServiceNow forms, fields, and tables to enhance usability and data management.
- Configure workflows, notifications, and access controls to manage system access and user permissions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions.
- Document workflows, processes, and configurations for future reference and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience with ServiceNow, specifically in ITSM modules.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with CMDB modules.
- Relevant certifications such as CSA (Certified System Administrator), CAD (Certified Application Developer), or CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience within the telecom domain.
