Job Description: ServiceNow Developer ITOM

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer with ITOM experience for a contract role in Tampa, FL. This position requires a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its various modules, with a focus on IT Operations Management (ITOM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules, with a specialization in ITOM.
  • Write and execute JavaScript, GlideScript, and other server-side scripts to customize the platform.
  • Utilize ServiceNow APIs for integrations and data manipulation.
  • Implement and manage ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, and CSM.
  • Work with development tools like Flow Designer, Studio IDE, and Update Sets for efficient development and deployment.
  • Design and develop custom applications and integrations to meet specific business needs.
  • Develop and maintain Service Portals for enhanced user experience.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow architecture, data model, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development or similar engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform development, including scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript) and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow modules, particularly ITOM.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow development tools such as Flow Designer, Studio IDE, and Update Sets.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and best practices.
  • Experience with Service Portal design and development.
  • Experience in developing custom applications and integrations with third-party applications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Information:

  • This is a contract position.
  • Location: Tampa, FL.
  • The rate is $50/hr.

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year
