Role Overview

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to spearhead our digital transformation by bridging the gap between traditional IT service excellence and advanced AI orchestration. You will be responsible for the strategic oversight of our ServiceNow environment, ensuring that “regular” core modules are perfectly maintained while leading the rollout of the AI Control Tower (AICT) and Now Assist generative AI features.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI Strategy & Orchestration (AICT Focus)
    • Centralized AI Governance: Lead the implementation and management of the AI Control Tower (AICT) to provide enterprise-wide visibility and control over all AI initiatives.
    • AI Asset Management: Use AICT to discover and manage the lifecycle of AI systems, models, and datasets, including those from third-party vendors like Azure AI or OpenAI.
    • Risk & Compliance: Enforce global AI regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST RMF) by running impact assessments within the AICT to monitor for bias, privacy risks, and harmful behaviors.
    • Value Tracking: Develop and monitor real-time value dashboards to measure AI’s impact on productivity, cost avoidance, and ROI.
  • Core Module Management & Leadership
    • ITSM & ITOM Mastery: Oversee technical architecture and delivery for core modules including Incident, Problem, Change, and Discovery/Service Mapping.
    • Cross-Functional Implementation: Lead enhancements and full-lifecycle deployments for HRSD, CSM, and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
    • Data Integrity (CMDB/CSDM): Maintain a healthy CMDB and adhere to the Common Services Data Model (CSDM), which serves as the essential foundation for both regular workflows and AI context.
    • Team Mentorship: Manage a team of developers and administrators, conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices across the platform.
  • Advanced Automation & Integrations
    • Generative AI (Now Assist): Deploy Now Assist skills such as incident summarization, KB generation, and intelligent code recommendations to boost agent and developer productivity.
    • Integration Leadership: Orchestrate complex integrations using IntegrationHub and REST/SOAP APIs to connect ServiceNow with external enterprise systems.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Platform Expertise: Years of ServiceNow experience with proven leadership in ITSM, ITOM, and HRSD.
  • AI Specialization: Hands-on experience with AI Control Tower (AICT), Predictive Intelligence, and Virtual Agent.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and knowledge of Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
  • Compliance Awareness: Understanding of AI governance frameworks and regulatory standards.

Preferred Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD
  • Micro-certifications in AI Control Tower or Generative AI

Compensation & Location

Salary: $55 – $65 per year
