Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM) Developer for a critical contract engagement based in San Francisco, CA. This is an onsite position requiring a professional with over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, specifically focusing on the ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of FSM modules to enhance field operations and technician productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM) solutions, including complex workflow automation and data model configurations.
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance and calibration workflows to ensure operational compliance and equipment reliability.
- Customize the ServiceNow platform, including UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and ACLs, while adhering to best practices.
- Build and optimize mobile workflows specifically tailored for field technicians to improve real-time data entry and task management.
- Lead legacy system migrations to the ServiceNow platform, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Implement compliance frameworks and enable advanced reporting capabilities to track KPIs and operational efficiency.
- Provide documentation and conduct end-user training sessions to ensure high adoption rates of the ServiceNow platform.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of dedicated experience with the ServiceNow platform.
- Proven track record of at least 2 full-lifecycle ServiceNow FSM implementations.
- Deep understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow integration methods (REST/SOAP).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
This role is strictly onsite in San Francisco, California. Candidates must be comfortable working in a collaborative office environment and engaging directly with local teams. This is a Contract-to-Contract (C2C) opportunity, ideal for independent consultants or established vendors.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $180,000 – $240,000 per year (Estimated)
