Position Summary

Valzo Soft Solutions is seeking a visionary ServiceNow Lead / Architect to join our prime client’s technology leadership team in Tampa, FL. This is a high-impact, long-term contract role designed for a professional with over a decade of experience in the IT industry and a specialized focus on the ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the architectural roadmap, leading complex implementations, and ensuring the platform’s seamless integration with enterprise-wide infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical authority for the ServiceNow platform, providing strategic guidance on architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Lead end-to-end ServiceNow deployments, ensuring that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with global business objectives.
  • Architect and manage complex integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems, including HRIS, ERP, and monitoring tools.
  • Provide technical leadership to development teams, conducting rigorous code reviews and establishing best practices for platform configuration and customization.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure ServiceNow is properly integrated with core services such as email systems, networking protocols, and security frameworks.
  • Design and implement robust security models within ServiceNow, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and enterprise security standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including system design documents, integration maps, and platform roadmaps.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to leverage new ServiceNow features and emerging technologies.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable technical solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Information Technology, with at least 6 years dedicated to ServiceNow architecture and leadership.
  • Expert-level knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and HRSD.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking (TCP/IP, DNS), email protocols (SMTP, IMAP), and security (SSL, OAuth, SAML).
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale ServiceNow transformations in complex, multi-national enterprise environments.
  • Deep understanding of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and its application in enterprise architecture.
  • Experience with JavaScript, GlideScript, and web services (REST/SOAP) within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.
