Job Title: ServiceNow Solution Architect

This is a W2 role for a ServiceNow Solution Architect, located in Chicago, IL. The position can be hybrid or onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end solution design for Enterprise Service Management (ESM) capabilities on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring functional needs are met through scalable, compliant solutions aligned with the Golden Instance architecture.
• Oversee solution design for specific ESM capabilities or functional waves, such as Finance, Procurement, and IT.
• Review and validate designs provided by System Integrators, ensuring design integrity.
• Ensure consistent design patterns across various departments (IT, HR, Finance, Legal, etc.) as they onboard to the Golden Instance.
• Ensure designs align with ServiceNow Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) capabilities and promote the reuse of shared platform components.
• Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) reviews, presenting solution designs and trade-offs.
• Identify functional needs that require architecture decisions or exceptions, and escalate appropriately.
• Partner closely with Development, Integration, and Testing Leads to clarify design intent and resolve issues during the design phase.
• Validate that delivered solutions accurately match approved designs and meet the intended functional requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in designing end-to-end solutions on the ServiceNow platform, particularly for ESM capabilities.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and Golden Instance principles.
• Experience in overseeing solution design for various functional areas (e.g., IT, HR, Finance, Procurement).
• Ability to review and validate designs from System Integrators.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow OOTB capabilities and shared platform components.
• Experience participating in Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and escalate architectural decisions or exceptions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to partner with development, integration, and testing teams.
• Experience in validating delivered solutions against approved designs.
• Familiarity with IT, HR, Finance, and Legal business processes is a plus.
