Job Title: ServiceNow Tech Lead – ITOM, ACC, and Event Management

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Technical Lead with a strong focus on ITOM (IT Operations Management), Agent Client Collector (ACC), and Event Management. In this critical role, you will be the primary architect and executor for our Agent Client Collector strategy, bridging the gap between IT Operations and the ServiceNow platform. Your goal is to ensure real-time visibility, automated monitoring, and seamless discovery across our global infrastructure, building a proactive, self-healing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Strategy: Lead the design and global deployment of ACC-D (Discovery), ACC-M (Monitoring), and ACC-V (Vulnerability) modules within ServiceNow.
  • Agent Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end deployment, health monitoring, and auto-upgrade strategy for thousands of ACC agents across both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Policy & Check Development: Create and customize Check Definitions and Policies using Ruby, PowerShell, and Shell scripting to monitor specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and discovery patterns.
  • Integration: Ensure seamless and accurate flow of ACC data into the ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and integrate it with Event Management to drive automated remediation through Alert Intelligence.
  • Governance: Manage the security posture of ACC agents, including the implementation and maintenance of TLS/SSL certificates, secure MID Server communication, and adherence to data privacy regulations.
  • Leadership: Mentor junior developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for stakeholders in IT Infrastructure and Security teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Technical Lead or Architect, with a deep understanding of ITOM modules.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Agent Client Collector (ACC) – Discovery, Monitoring, and Vulnerability.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Ruby, PowerShell, and Shell scripting.
  • Solid understanding of IT Operations, infrastructure monitoring, and event management principles.
  • Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Event Management integrations.
  • Knowledge of security best practices related to agent deployment and data management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a remote environment.
