Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer with specific experience in the Vulnerability Response (VR) module to join our client’s team. This role involves configuring and customizing the ServiceNow VR module to manage the entire vulnerability lifecycle, from identification to remediation and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow, ITSM processes, and experience integrating with various vulnerability scanners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module to manage vulnerability identification, prioritization, remediation, and reporting.
- Design workflows, business rules, client scripts, and integrations supporting the VR lifecycle.
- Integrate VR with external vulnerability scanners (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Prisma Cloud) and CMDB to automate import and correlation of vulnerability data.
- Configure MID Servers, data sources, and API connections for vulnerability data ingestion.
- Develop automation for vulnerability assignment, remediation tracking, and exception management.
- Create custom dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics indicators for vulnerability KPIs and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective vulnerability management.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for the ServiceNow VR module.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5-9 years of hands-on development experience in the ServiceNow platform.
- 2+ years of experience specifically in Vulnerability Response (VR) module implementation.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM processes.
- Experience integrating with vulnerability scanners such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Prisma Cloud, etc.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and REST/SOAP integrations.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
- Experience working in an Onsite environment, preferably local to New Jersey.
Additional Information:
- This is a 6-month contract position.
- The role is primarily Onsite, with a preference for candidates local to New Jersey. Candidates local to Tampa, FL may also be considered.
Special Requirements
Onsite role. Local to New Jersey preferred, local to Tampa FL considered. Visa Type/Work Authorization Status required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60,000 – $110,000 per year (Estimated)
