Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in managing and optimizing production systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability. This is a critical role for maintaining and improving our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable production systems.
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
- Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system design, performance, and reliability.
- Develop and enforce best practices for system security and disaster recovery.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our SRE practices and tooling.
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field.
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale production systems.
- Strong understanding of system scalability, performance, and reliability principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
