Position Summary
Sira Consulting Inc is looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with specialized expertise in Zero Trust security principles and Okta identity management. This role is based in the high-tech hub of San Francisco, CA, and focuses on building, maintaining, and securing highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles, with a strong emphasis on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and multi-cloud environments including Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our clients’ digital ecosystems.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust IAM and IGA solutions using Okta, focusing on OAuth, SAML, OIDC, and MFA/FIDO protocols.
- Apply Zero Trust security principles across all infrastructure layers to ensure secure access and data protection.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure environments, including Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and ARM templates.
- Utilize Azure Monitor and Azure Policy to maintain system health and compliance standards.
- Oversee GCP operations using GAM, Cloud Operations Suite, and Deployment Manager for automated infrastructure provisioning.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with security and development teams to architect secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native applications.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts to minimize downtime and resolve complex system issues.
Technical Skill Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
- Expert-level knowledge of Okta for Identity and Access Management implementation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, particularly AKS and Entra ID.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) management tools.
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust architecture and modern security protocols (FIDO, MFA).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Go, or Bash for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Compensation & Location
Salary: $170,000 – $230,000 per year
