Sitecore DAM Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Sitecore DAM Administrator to oversee the daily operations and governance of our Sitecore Digital Asset Management platform. This role is crucial for ensuring that digital assets are properly stored, tagged, secured, and delivered across various business teams. You will collaborate closely with marketing, creative, product, and IT teams to support content workflows and business processes. The administrator will be responsible for configuring and maintaining user permissions, roles, workflows, and metadata structures. Additionally, you will onboard new users, provide training on DAM best practices, and work to improve asset findability, metadata accuracy, and overall DAM search performance. Monitoring system reliability and coordinating enhancements or fixes will also be key responsibilities. This is a strategic role responsible for both the strategic governance and operational execution of the DAM platform.

  • General Skills/Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Digital Asset Management (DAM) concepts, metadata structures, taxonomies, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with Sitecore DAM platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, IT, and content operations.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve platform or asset-related issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to document processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with content governance, brand compliance, and digital asset versioning.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to SLAs.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Critical Skills/Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with Sitecore DAM administration, including user management, permissions, schema configuration, and workflow setup.
  • Expertise in managing metadata schemas, asset classification, tagging automation, and taxonomy design.
  • Experience configuring and optimizing ingestion processes, including bulk asset imports, transformations, and metadata enrichment.
  • Strong knowledge of DAM integrations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain automation scripts or connectors using APIs or workflow tools.
  • Experience monitoring system performance, managing storage, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Strong understanding of rights management, license expiration rules, and compliance guidelines.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into system configurations and DAM governance policies.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $50 – $70 per year (Estimated)
