About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Sitecore DAM Developer/Administrator to manage and optimize the Digital Asset Management platform. This role focuses on asset governance, metadata management, system configuration, and ensuring seamless collaboration across marketing, creative, and IT teams.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Digital Asset Management concepts including metadata, taxonomy, and asset lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with Sitecore DAM administration (user management, permissions, workflows, schema configuration)
- Expertise in metadata modeling, asset classification, tagging, and taxonomy design
- Experience with DAM integrations and API-based automation
- Knowledge of ingestion processes including bulk uploads, transformations, and metadata enrichment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for platform and asset-related issues
- Understanding of content governance, brand compliance, and version control
- Experience in system performance monitoring, storage management, and data integrity
- Knowledge of rights management, license tracking, and compliance policies
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience building automation scripts or connectors using APIs
- Exposure to workflow tools and content operations processes
- Experience working in enterprise content or marketing environments
- Familiarity with SLA-driven support environments
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and governance of the Sitecore DAM platform
- Configure and manage users, roles, permissions, workflows, and metadata schemas
- Ensure digital assets are properly stored, tagged, secured, and easily accessible
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, product, and IT teams to support content workflows
- Optimize asset ingestion processes including bulk uploads and metadata enrichment
- Improve asset searchability, metadata accuracy, and overall platform usability
- Monitor system performance, storage, and reliability, and coordinate issue resolution
- Develop and maintain integrations and automation using APIs where required
- Provide user onboarding, training, and best practices documentation
- Act as the primary owner of the DAM platform, ensuring governance and continuous improvement
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $65 per year
