About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and implementing scalable data solutions using Snowflake. You will be responsible for the entire data lifecycle, from architecture and pipeline development to performance optimization and data governance. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data solutions using Snowflake, including database architecture, schemas, tables, views, and data sharing features.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, Snowpipe, and integration with tools such as Airflow, Informatica, or Talend.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and tasks, while optimizing performance using clustering and query tuning techniques.
- Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and manage data ingestion from multiple sources.
- Implement data security, governance, role-based access control, and ensure data quality and compliance across enterprise data platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Snowflake Developer or Data Engineer.
- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and tasks.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline development (e.g., Snowpipe, Airflow, Informatica, Talend).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data integration.
- Knowledge of data security, governance, and access control principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
