Job Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to join their team for a critical data processing workflow migration project. The project involves moving from Informatica PowerCenter to Snowflake, utilizing Snowflake Stored Procedures and AWS Glue for enhanced data processing capabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing Informatica PowerCenter workflows to extract and understand data transformation logic.
- Rebuild and optimize data processing workflows using Snowflake Stored Procedures and SQL.
- Enhance performance and cost efficiency within the Snowflake environment.
- Develop and maintain AWS Glue scripts as required for data integration and processing.
- Perform comprehensive data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Provide recommendations for schema and structural improvements within Snowflake to optimize data management and query performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and successful project delivery.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience with Snowflake, including Stored Procedures, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL development.
- Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and complex data structures.
- Ability to analyze complex data workflows and translate them into efficient Snowflake solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS Glue and other AWS services.
- Exposure to Healthcare or Provider data domains.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing concepts.
